Fairytale
When I was a little girl, I used to read about fairytales, about prince and princess, about the once upon a times, about the they live happily ever afters. In fairytales, I meet Prince Charming and he's everything that I've ever wanted. Prince Charming is very easy to spot. He comes with his white horse. He has got a crown on his head. He carries a sword with him all the time.
Then, I grow up and I realise that Prince Charming is not as easy to spot as I thought. I realise that Prince Charming doesn't come with his white horse. He has got no crown and no sword. But, he's really cute and he makes me laugh. He plays me songs with his favourite guitar. He holds me tight when I fall. He tells me bedtime stories when I couldn't sleep. He tickles me and kisses me on my forehead. He tells me he loves me. He's still everything that I've ever wanted, just like Prince Charming in fairytales, just without the white horse, crown and sword.

Mary's song
She said, I was seven and you were nine,
I looked at you like the stars that shined
In the sky, the pretty lights;
And our daddies used to joke about the two of us
Growing up and falling in love, and our mamas smiled,
And rolled their eyes and said, oh, my, my, my...
Take me back to the house in the backyard tree,
Said you'd beat me up, you were bigger than me.
You never did, you never did.
Take me back when our world was one block wide,
I dared you to kiss me and ran when you tried.
Just two kids, you and I...
Oh, my, my, my, my...
Well, I was sixteen when suddenly
I wasn't that little girl you used to see,
But your eyes still shined like pretty lights;
And our daddies used to joke about the two of us,
They never believed we'd really fall in love,
And our mamas smiled and rolled their eyes,
And said, oh, my, my, my...
Take me back to the creek beds we turned up,
Two a.m. riding in your truck, and all I need is you next to me.
Take me back to the time we had our very first fight,
The slamming of doors instead of kissing goodnight.
You stayed outside till the morning light,
Oh, my, my, my...
A few years had gone and come around,
We were sitting at our favorite spot in town,
And you looked at me, got down on one knee
Take me back to the time when we walked down the aisle,
Our whole town came and our mamas cried.
You said I do and I did too.
Take me home where we met so many years before,
We'll rock our babies on that very front porch.
After all this time, you and I
I'll be eighty-seven; you'll be eighty-nine,
I'll still look at you like the stars that shine
In the sky, oh, my, my, my...
I looked at you like the stars that shined
In the sky, the pretty lights;
And our daddies used to joke about the two of us
Growing up and falling in love, and our mamas smiled,
And rolled their eyes and said, oh, my, my, my...

If only life was this simple; if only I was Mary; if only this was my love life; if only...... I always wonder how it feels like to have grown up with him since young and getting old together, seeing wrinkles and white hairs growing on each other. I think this is sweet! (:

I'm not a girl, not yet a woman
A girl doesn't have to worry about causing troubles or being in deep shits.
No matter how much I wish to be one again, I have to constantly remind myself that I'm no longer a little girl anymore. However, I ain't tough enough to handle it all on my own, cause I know I'm not close to being an independent woman yet. While I'm in between, I will pick up from my mistakes and learn to stand strong, stay calm, lastly, be a better person.

LoveGivesMeHope
A boy came up to me and gave me a teddy bear when I was six on Valentine's Day. I laughed and said "Why don't you give it to me ten years later?" He replied "It's okay, I can wait."
Ten years later, I received the exact same teddy bear with a note saying "I waited for ten years and I still love you."
His LGMH.
It's amazing to know that guy like him still exist in this world. He was so young yet so mature. He did what he said he would. He waited exactly ten years, not knowing if he stood a chance. Fairytales do exist after all. People may find him dumb, but I think his dumb act caught a girl's heart (:

I'm glad...
....that we still keep in touch just like how we used to be, cycling and laughing at the daily happenings at the park. Sometimes, we just need random moment like this to perk up a blue Monday (:

Self-potrait
People call it camwhore, I call it self-potrait.
If you had a crystal ball that you could look into, which painted out the images of the rest of your life, would you look into it?
I guess I wouldn't. It's all in the word 'fear', perhaps, fear to know how I would turn into; fear to know that I turned out to be someone that I don't want to be at this moment; fear to know how far I could go or rather, how far I couldn't go. I have to admit that I live my life with fear, I mean, who doesn't? What are we without fear? Even if the crystal ball shows that I live a good life with four kids and many grandchildrens, I still wouldn't want to look into it. Let spontaneity do its job =)
